Oslo Runway: Our Five Favourite Norwegian Brands

August 22 to August 24 saw Norway's answer to fashion week and largest fashion event - Oslo Runway. For those three days Oslo played host and exhibited established and new Norwegian design talents. We've listed our five favourite independent brands and designers from the show.

Founded in 2004 and inspired by vintage designs, byTiMO aims to provide women with high quality, yet reasonably priced fashion wear. Everything at byTiMO is handcrafted and designed in-house. From the embroideries and beadings to the prints and knits, all pieces are designed and made by the byTiMO team. 

 

FALL WINTER SPRING SUMMER (FWSS)

FWSS was established in 2012 by a small collection of creative individuals. It is an unmistakably Scandinavian brand whose pieces are inspired by the vibrant attitude and edge that makes the city of Oslo uniquely original.

IBEN is a Norwegian fashion brand for strong, independent, yet playful women. Founded in 2014, IBEN is a brand for women who choose to communicate their personality and identity through the way they dress.

Established in 2006, iiS Norway  is a contemporary and modern brand that holds strong roots in Norwegian tradition. iiS aims to provide women with comfortable clothing that makes people feel good.

 

TOM WOOD

Founded in 2013 by Mona Jensen, Norwegian lifestyle brand Tom Wood's collection is inspired by Inspired Scandinavian functionalism. Their collections have introduced a new and modern take to classic jewellery, eyewear and clothing pieces.
