The event was held at the Business Design Centre. It was the perfect venue to hold all the amazing brands that were there. The atmosphere was buzzing with lots of visitors going from stall to stall. Our PR manager, Elodie, was roped in to helping out on the Eight Hour Studio stall, promoting their new dreamy collection, ‘Noughts and Crosses’.
Lowie, our favourite ethical knitwear brand, showcased their latest collection and design director Bronwyn was promoting the brand by signing people up to the mailing list. Toolally, remained cool and colourful as per. Their beautifully put together stand really caught the eye of passers by and Earring-selfies were more popular than ever.
After a delectable Crosstown doughnut, or five, and a little snooze in the Sleep pod we went search of bags. It’s fair to say we weren’t disappointed. Olive Cooper’s black leather bags were classic and super chic. She is also a finalised alongside Rosie at the Great British Entrepreneur awards in the Fashion category so it was great to chat about the upcoming awards. We also loved Kate Sheriden’s little plant holders… Christmas gifts?
All in all the weekend was a success! We loved all the FOOD, the brands and the talks, especially the up-cycling workshop and Frederique Tietcheu's styling talk. You could really see the Stylist Magazine brand shine through the whole weekend.
With sore feet, we were ready to head home, but not before a tasty pot of Annie Mae’s Mac ‘n’ Cheese.
